Transcendence / solo exhibition 2026, INTENT gallery, Dubai Downtown

My work investigates the tension between the constructed self and the essential self - between the persona we present and the forces beneath the surface.

I focus on the dual structure of human existence: the horizontal plane of identity, desire, and social presence, and the vertical pull toward inner awareness and transcendence. These dimensions coexist within us, yet rarely align.

My elongated, often androgynous figures inhabit this threshold. They have no faces, avoiding preformed impressions and allowing the viewer to engage directly with the work and form their own interpretations.

The figures are half-human, half-surreal, existing between reality and what we consider unreality. I leave that boundary open for the viewer to explore and question.

BOX / exhibition 2024, The Warehouse Art Café

"BOX questions our conceptual identity. As humans, we constantly seek our identities. Society creates many image boxes, compelling us to conform.

Especially in these times, where we are overloaded with information and confronted with non-existing boxes, we don't always discern truth from falsehood. I'm intrigued by the idea of transcending the constructed box to experience a non-conceptual sense of self-being.

Through this painting series, I was attempting to avoid identification and find comfort in not knowing who I am."

BEING / solo exhibition 2023, SOMA studio design, Dubai

“ During the painting process, I was able to step out of my usual stream of thinking to sense the perception and visualize the spiritual being through a human lens and experience. Behind the surface layer of reality, I met my being and we had a small dance. My being was a dancer, I was just a dance. Thoughtless attention opened the curtains and invited me to meet spacious beings on my canvas. I tried to reflect stillness, oneness, timelessness. Escape from form identity and balancing or dancing on two dimensions. Human being. ”
